These only took a couple of hours and they seem to keep Hank's feet pretty snug in his galoshes. I used this pattern with a bigger gauge wool yarn (4 sts/inch) and size 8 needles because Hank's feet are pretty big for a toddler (size 10).

Did you knit these in DPNs? I'm working on my first pair of socks (strictly my second but the first were knit on straight needles and seamed and turned out like giant adult booties so they don't count) and I'm having real trouble switching from one DPN to the next - I end up with holes all the way up. It kind of defeats the purpose of nice seamless knitting in the round. Any tips?
Oh lovely pair of socks and the color well be neutral and be combines with a lot of dresses.Neat work.
